Making the most of your personal brand
On the 3rd of March, the CWN hosted a talk at the Gordon Dadds premises on Self-Branding. Our speaker was Jennifer Holloway of Spark, with 15 years' experience in strategic PR and communications. The talk focussed on how to promote your personal brand and make the best out of your USPs to market yourself in a way that allows you to stand out from the crowd.
She had a no-nonsense, down to earth approach, peppered with humorous anecdotes that left the attendees roaring with laughter. Jennifer brought out the best in her audience, answering questions that left a resonance in many of the listeners.
The talk was followed by drinks and canapés, allowing our members and non-members to network at ease in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. I am delighted to note that our women had a wonderful time, making contact across a broad range of professionals, whose rich experiences led to late departures and many smiles as they walked out the door.
(Please feel free to email CWN member Sarah Bond on sarahbond91@gmail.com if you would like to raise any questions).

CWN is a great mix. There are events that are serious, that cover topics that are new to me, and there are events that are fun. There are people from a range of sectors, some in the City, many not. There are also plenty of opportunities for collaboration and friendship.
