| Information: | The Global Summit of Women 2010 celebrates the 20th anniversary of this unique global gathering of women with a major event in Beijing from May 20 – 22. This major event is entitled ‘Women at the Forefront of Change’. The Global Summit of Women – often called ‘Davos for women’ is open to corporate businesswomen, entrepreneurs, leaders in government and NGO’s, offering worldwide networking opportunities including insights into the women driving business growth, both as consumers and business leaders in the Chinese and Asian economies. There will be opportunities to learn about doing business with China, the world’s second largest economy. Speakers include more than 80 inspirational role models from every continent and the 2010 Summit features include : -Plenary sessions covering business trends regionally and globally; -Practical strategies for business growth – personal and entrepreneurial - developed in different parts of the world; -Skills building sessions in four tracks: Leadership Development, Entrepreneurial, Micro enterprise Development, and Issues; -Featured ‘best practices’ in partnerships between business and government to advance women and to promote ‘green’ initiatives. -A window into the Chinese economy which is the fastest growing major economy for the past 30 years, and where women make up nearly half the labour force (45.4%). Ample networking opportunities at breakfasts, lunches, receptions, and throughout the event. Cost for this event is USD $450 (Non-Profit and Governmental Rate) and USD $700 (Corporate Rate).
