Two CWN Members Honoured
21st May 2012CWN congratulates two of our members on receiving awards at the Asian women of Achievement awards 2012 held on 16thMay at the Hilton Park Lane.
Board member Farida Gibbs received the Entrepreneur Award and long standing CWN member Mei Sim Lai OBE won the award for Public Service.
The Asian Women of Achievement Awards, co-founded by Pinky Lilani OBE in 1999, were conceived to celebrate the often unsung Asian heroines of British life. Such women make a huge contribution in fields as diverse as business, entrepreneurship and social and humanitarian work. These awards, are their moment in the spotlight.
