Me, Myself and AI - 8th November 2023
Me, Myself, and AI: Making AI Work for You, was an absolute triumph! The event, in collaboration with Oakleaf Partnership, was CWN's first ever hybrid event and was a thought provoking journey into the incredible world of AI, seamlessly blending insightful discussions, personal experiences and quality networking time.
Participants were treated to a wealth of knowledge on harnessing AI's potential for personal and professional growth. The dynamic panel shared practical insights, demystifying the complexities of AI and empowering attendees to integrate it into their lives. Special thanks to LendInvest who hosted the event and to CWN member Charlotte Wiseman, Events Strategy Committee Chair, for moderating.

September Supper Club - 27th September 2023
Our recent supper club at The White Room Supper Club was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment our guests walked through the door, they were transported into a world of culinary delights at the stylish home of Chef Claudia Stachelhaus. The carefully crafted menu was a symphony of flavors that left taste buds dancing with joy. The ambiance, with its elegant decor and soft lighting, created the perfect backdrop for lively conversations and laughter. But what truly made the evening exceptional was the incredible company of our guests – old friends and new, all coming together to savor delicious food and create lasting memories.

Feeling inspired at Aspire! - 14th September 2023
On Thursday 14th September, CWN held their collaboration event with Aspire for Equality. It's a M.A.D. (making a difference) World - was a truly unique and memorable event. Attendees were left feeling stimulated, empowered and motivated to make a difference to the lives of women everywhere.
Our sincere thanks once again to the wonderful Dr. Sam Collins, for running the workshop in the beautiful rooms at Aspire. Every detail was perfect from the décor to the delicious vegan canapes - all made and sourced by women.

CWN celebrates 45 years! - 5th July 2023
Thank you so much to everyone who came and celebrated our 45th anniversary party on 5th July. The event was a huge success and was a pure delight to see so many inspiring, courageous and amazing women in one room together - what a buzz! The event took place on the Penthouse Terrace at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Holborn against a background of soulful songs from the year 1978 and sapphire and gold décor; sapphire being the commemorative stone for 45 years.
Our longest standing member, Vanda Green, delighted us with some amusing CWN anecdotes from the past as our President, Yvette Forrester, gave a speech which looked ahead to what CWN has in store for the coming years.
We held a raffle on the evening with five wonderful prizes on offer, which raised over £1,000 for our charity partner, Woman's Trust - what an incredible achievement! To view a short video reel of the evening, please click here.
Working with Grief - 17th May 2023
CWN was delighted to invite Grief Therapist, Vicki Beedham, to present a workshop on how to tackle grief in the workplace. Vicki is Founder of Griefwise and provided an enlightening session for all as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week.

May Supper Club - 11th May 2023
City Women Network were delighted to welcome many new members to our Supper Club at The Anthologist on 11th May. The private room in the heart of the city was a quirky mixture of vintage and modern with many gorgeous botanical elements.
The event was hosted by Charlotte Wiseman on the Events Strategy Committee. If you are interested to join our next Supper Club, we are currently planning this for September. There will be more details to follow soon!

Watch Your Business Fly! - 19th April 2023
Thank you to all who attended our fantastic event, Watch Your Business Fly, on 19th April. The event was well attended and was a great success. Our expert panel shared many insights and tips on how to start and grow a business, which created some fascinating conversations. Fellows Event: Fizz and Sparkle! - 22nd March 2023
Our event at Fellows Auctioneers on Wednesday 22nd March was a huge success and most definitely full of fizz of sparkle! Attendees got to learn all about how to spot fake designer handbags and watches from real ones with experts from Fellows to give out advice! It was also fascinating to learn about the history of Fellows whilst networking over some delicious canapes in Fellows' gorgeous town house in Mayfair. A special thank you to Fellows who hosted this event for CWN.

International Women's Day Event: A Focus on Domestic Abuse with Woman's Trust - 7th March 2023
Thank you to all who came to our event on 7th March 2023 at The Royal Institution to celebrate International Women's day. We have received some wonderful feedback about the night. Thank you to Jessica Ramudo (Woman's Trust), Lesley Sackey (Fight Forward) and Danielle Bridge (ABC Life Support and Black Minds Matter) for their empowering and uplifting speeches, sharing their stories and addressing the sensitive subject of domestic abuse. What a joy to be in a room surrounded by so many strong and inspiring women. At this event we also officially launched our new charity partnership with Woman's Trust and we’re delighted to have raised over £450 for them, thanks to the generous contributions from our attendees. We are looking forward to sharing more in the near future about how you can further support them in other ways.

CWN Supper Club in Collaboration with The Conduit - 9th February 2023
CWN's Supper Club in collaboration with The Conduit in February 2023 was a wonderful event with CWN members and The Conduit Club Members. It was focussed around a discussion on "Health: we all have it so why don't we talk about it?" What a fantastic way to network with members of the Conduit Cub and learn some valuable insights. Attendees explored the stigma of talking about health and the opportunities that might arise in and out of the workplace if we tackle this taboo.
The event was be hosted by Charlotte Wiseman with speakers, Yvette Forrester, President of City Women Network and Janet Lyndsay, Wellbeing of Women.
Financial Wellbeing in Uncertain Times - 31st Janaury 2023
CWN's event in collaboration with Royal Bank of Canada on "Financial Wellbeing in Uncertain Times" took place on Tuesday 31st January 2023. It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as new ones too!
The event was a panel event with an interactive Q&A element, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you again to our panel, Sam Secomb (Women's Wealth), Nicky Barclay (Finura) and Prue Thompson (RBC).
