We invite you to join another evening event in our 'In Conversation' series. CWN is delighted to have high-profile financier Michael Cole-Fontayn joining us on 11 June.
Michael Cole-Fontayn, Chairman, Association for Financial Markets in Europe will join CWN Board member Yvette Forrester for a chat on the topic of Inclusion and Belonging. Michael and Yvette have a shared history of working in the same financial institution for several years. Michael will share his thoughts on diversity, the importance of inclusion and how he has played a role in being an advocate and sponsor for many.
Michael previously spent 35 years with BNY Mellon, the last seven as Chairman, Europe, Middle East & Africa. In addition to his role at AFME, Michael is currently Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), a member and co-chair of the Wholesale Banking Group of the European Financial Services Chairman’s Advisory Council, a member of the Advisory Council and the Financial Services Skills Taskforce of TheCityUK, and member of FICC Markets Standards Board Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum Advisory Board and a Board and Executive Committee Member of the Global Financial Markets Association. Michael is Trustee of the mental health charity, the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and of education charity, Engage with China Ltd. He was recently awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) from Cass Business School.
Pricing
There is a nominal charge for non-members (a choice between a £10, £15 and £20 ticket price), with all money raised going to CWN’s charity partner, Wellbeing of Women (WOW).
Members tickets are free, however, members have the option of making a donation to WOW by choosing one of the Member 'donation' tickets.
