Why Strong Leadership starts from within

11 May 2021
1:00pm - 2:00pm BST

The future of work is still unclear even though public life is starting to show signs of coming back to life. What is clear is that the recent COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we should lead. Senior executives can no longer expect life to go back to normal. This presents a great opportunity for business leaders to transform work for the better. That starts with understanding the human aspect of leadership and why we must learn to lead ourselves before we can lead others.

In this talk, Dr Dimitrios Spyridonidis, Associate Professor of Leadership and Innovation at Warwick Business School, will discuss learning to lead in the new global environment.

You will:

  • Draw upon the key leadership lessons learned that can inform senior executive development in the new global environment
  • Discover critical leadership skills required to cope with a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world during and after COVID-19
  • Find ways to create a new world of work that will be happy and productive
