Members and CWN invited guests (female and male!)
CWN is excited to invite you to its annual Summer Drinks at the elegant and historic Lansdowne Club. Built in 1763, Lansdowne House became a social club in 1935. Unlike its contemporaries, The Lansdowne Club has admitted men and women with equal social status since its doors opened.
Guest Speaker - Reena Dayal
We are delighted to welcome Reena Dayal, author of The Brilliance Quotient, as our guest speaker on the evening. Reena will take a few insights from her book and bring these topics to life.
These are exciting times for those who dare to dream and stretch themselves beyond their current abilities. It is the era for disruptive visionaries. The questions are: what should leaders focus on to unlock their hidden potential? What is the 20% they must get right to ensure their teams and businesses thrive? What makes a high performing leader into an extraordinary visionary?
Packed with ancient eastern wisdom, the latest neuroscience, leadership best practices and powerful insights from over 20 global experts and questions to engage your mind, this book will expand leadership capabilities in depth and width. Get a taste of it in her talk and decide for yourself.
Copies of her book will be available to purchase on the night at a special launch price of £10. The best news of it all - 20% goes to a very special group of women in Jo'berg, South Africa who are making a difference to the lives of HIV and abandoned children who they adopt and look after till school going age.
Silent Auction and Raffle
CWN will hold a silent auction and raffle on the night. All proceeds will be donated to Haven House Children's Hospice, CWN's charity partner for 2018/2019.
Since its inception in 2001, Haven House has supported over 900 families, looking after children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. In the hospice children benefit from play activities as well as day and overnight stays. Through the Holistic Care Centre, opened in September 2014, children can access a range of therapies, including music therapy, physiotherapy and therapeutic yoga.
