We may have heard the statistics that 1 in 4 people experience mental illness in the UK every year but how many of us really know how to respond to support someone in need? If you are ready to change that then join CWN member and Mental Health First Aid trainer, Charlotte Wiseman, for this interactive webinar to learn skills to look after your own wellbeing and promote positive mental health in your community, workplace and home.
Ideal for everyone from corporate leaders to entrepreneurs, this practical session will introduce Mental Health First Aid, an evidence-based approach to supporting mental health. We explore the difference between mental health, mental illness and mental fitness (resilience), learn to identify the signs of sub-optimal wellbeing and most importantly understand how to make a meaningful difference by having open conversations about mental health. This session will challenge stigma and encourage conversation and give you skills for life.
