31 Jan 2023
5:30pm - 8:00pm GMT

CWN is delighted to be running the first of a series of events in 2023 around the themes of how life is now different following the pandemic and to consider the implications of these current uncertain times on our careers and financial wellness.

Sponsored and hosted by Royal Bank of Canada at their offices in Bishopsgate, London, there will be a panel discussion sharing perspectives on the themes below:

  • Economic outlook and lessons from the past
  • From a labour trend perspective what challenges and opportunities are now presented from the last few years from the Pandemic and beyond?
  • What are the concerns for employers and what trends are we seeing in terms of new ways of working and integrating work and home balance?
  • How are we as individuals responding to this new world?
  • How does all this impact on our financial wellbeing?
  • What tools are available to support us in these times?

Included in our panel is Sam Secombe, who holds over 30 years in the financial sector and runs a financial planning business called Women’s Wealth, helping people get the best out of what they earn, own and hold.

Nicola Barclay will also be speaking on the panel.  Nicola is a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst ay Finura.  She also sits on the events Committee at for City Women Network.

Our final panelist is Prue Thompson, eads the Marketing & Client Engagement teams for Wealth Management in the British Isles and Asia, and the global Investor & Treasury Services marketing team at Royal Bank of Canada.

The event will be moderated by Rhonda Martin, CWN Board Member and a Q&A session will follow the panel discussion followed by drinks and canapes over a networking reception.

We look forward to seeing you there!
